Who built this

I’m Craig Constantine. I make things — writing, conversations, and this — around one quiet idea: presence, not pursuit. I built this place and I look after it.

Why I built it

I wanted a place to share with the people I actually know that was truly mine and truly private. Not a feed. Not an audience. No ads, no tracking, no algorithm deciding who sees what, no stranger wandering in. You invite the people you want, and that’s exactly who’s there.

And I wanted it to last. What you make here is yours: you can pack up everything — words, photos, video — and take it with you, any time, in a form you can actually open and read. Nothing you make is ever trapped.

Who it’s for

People with something to share and a particular circle to share it with — family, close friends, the ones who were actually on the trip or knew the person. Not the public, not followers, not an audience you’re trying to grow. If you’ve ever wanted to post something and thought “but not for everyone,” this is the place for that.

How it works

Plainly, and on purpose. Every microblog gets its own little database, so your things live apart from everyone else’s. Photos and video sit on storage built to hold them, everything travels encrypted, and there’s no analytics package studying you — because I don’t want to know. It runs lean enough that inviting a friend costs pennies, which is why it can stay free for the people you invite.
